French Knitting Workshop! Join us in the studio for a relaxing art class featuring French Knitting. This class also includes drawing and colouring in, for in between knitting to keep our little artists entertained for the full hour of the class. Each artist will receive their own bee French Knitting loom to use in the class and to take home and keep. There will be a tutorial and help setting up the loom, and plenty of wool to use! Come and learn a new skill in an encouraging and relaxing environment. This class provides a relaxing, tactile activity that promotes stress relief and feelings of calm.
Zoo Watercolour Workshop! Join us at Forster Art Studio for a fun class of drawing and watercolour painting. Learn new skills while sketching animals and designing your zoo scene. Add details and colour with fineliner markers and watercolour paints. These designs will offer creative freedom to our artists while encouraging the addition of their favourite animals and colours. Our zoo designs will be quirky and cute and and unique to each individual artist.
Flower Headband Workshop! Join us in the studio to develop design and creativity skills in a fun and nurturing environment. This class provides a headband for each artist where they are able to attach fabric flowers of their choosing with glue to create unique and beautiful floral headbands. In this class we will also be sketching and watercolour painting a field full of flowers with a stream of water flowing through it.
Abstract Portrait Workshop! Contemporary abstract portraits are always a favourite at Forster Art Studio, join us for a step-by-step tutorial, inspiration, guidance, and lots of fun! Be inspired by the work of modern abstract artists, and develop new skills while creating a unique piece of art. This workshop includes a tutorial where unique and personalised details are encouraged. Self-expression is explored while experimenting with different ways to represent facial features and feelings. Explore your personal creative style, develop new skills, and create a unique piece of art.
Rock Painting Workshop! Join us in the studio for a fun class of painting rocks! This class provides rocks, inspiration, acrylic paints, paint markers, and everything our artists need to create unique little artworks on rocks. Artists will be encouraged to create some rock designs to take home with them. Also, some rock designs will be created to leave at the front of our studio to share with our Fairways Shops community for anyone needing a little boost of happiness at this time of year to take home and keep. We will talk about generosity, community, and giving back with our creative skills. This is a feel-good activity with lots of inspiration, fun, and encouragement provided.
